When you have a baby, you go through stacks of wipes. It's nice when they're not only good for your baby but also for the planet. So plastic free. Naïf Plastic Free Wipes for Baby & Kids are made of eucalyptus fibers, making them 100% biodegradable! The bioplastic packaging is made from sugarcane. See, now we're talking.
"But is there plastic in baby wipes?" you may be wondering. A standard pack of baby wipes is equivalent to the amount of plastic in 2 PET bottles. And we're not just talking about the packaging, but also the wipes themselves. So yes, there's quite a bit of plastic in there.
In term of what's good for the baby, Plastic Free wipes are made of 99% water and are free of alcohol, perfumes and chemical preservatives. Minimal risk of a skin reaction. This makes them safe to use for the bum, body and face (and your own hands!).
All Naïf products are 100% vegan, plastic-free and dermatologically tested.
Did you know that a new EU Legislation is in force on disposable plastic? An important part of this is the mandatory reporting of plastic on packaging, in the form of a logo depicting a choked turtle. May not look very cozy, but it does bring a positive change! Naïf diaper wipes are 100% plastic free and celebrates this positive change by depicting the sea turtle in a cheerful way on the packaging.
